SALVADOR, BAHIA, BRAZIL – JULY 16, 2025 Under the Retiro overpass, near the road leading to Avenida Luís Eduardo Magalhães, the corpse of a man was found. At first glance, it was clear he had died a violent death, execution-style. His body was wrapped in plastic sheeting and had more than 30 gunshot wounds.
Witnesses stated that several perpetrators were seen at the scene. They began shooting at him while he was immobilized in the plastic. They fled the area immediately afterward.
The case is currently under intense investigation by the police. Although the motive has not been officially confirmed, the method suggests that it was the work of a gang operating in the area.
