MUCURI, BRAZIL – MARCH 26, 2018 Police were called to the couple’s home by their neighbors. They heard a brutal argument, pleas for help and suddenly an eerie silence. When police entered the house, they found the woman’s corpse lying at the entrance to the living room. She had a fatal stab wound to the chest, which had damaged her heart. She was identified as 37-year-old Rosimeire Silva dos Santos. Police immediately launched a search for her boyfriend, 37-year-old Darlândio Souza Menezes, who was the prime suspect. However, he managed to flee the scene.
