FEIRA DE SANTANA, BRAZIL – JULY 10, 2017 Maiane Barreto Rodrigues was executed in an abandoned lot by heavily armed men. She was shot five times in the head. She was kidnapped from her own home in the neighboring town of Amelia Rodrigues.

Police investigations revealed that Maiane was the wife of a bank robber and drug trafficker, known as Helmans. Her execution is therefore probably linked to her husband’s activities.
