ÇEŞME, IZMIR PROVINCE, TURKEY – JUNE 5, 2025 In the resort town of Çeşme, there was an armed assassination attempt on Turkish businessman Fatih Fil. The gunman ran up to him from behind, fired several shots, and hit him twice in the leg.

Fatih Fil was taken to the hospital after the attack, where he received treatment. His condition is stable and not life-threatening. The attacker fled the scene, and the police are actively searching for him. The motive for the attack has not yet been officially confirmed.
Fatih Fil is the owner of Kırkpınar Dekorasyon Lojistik Ltd. Şti., a company operating in the decoration and logistics sector. He is also the chairman of the board of the Filoğlu Group. He studied civil engineering at Newport International University and previously attended a vocational high school in Sapanca.
