GÜLTEPE, ADANA, TURKEY – JUNE 3, 2026 Family argument in a suburb of Adana, ended in tragedy. A young man reportedly demanded money from his father, a former police officer. When he was unsuccessful, a conflict broke out between them, during which the son allegedly attacked his father with a knife. Some sources state that the son was heavily addicted to drugs and lived a chaotic lifestyle.
The father responded to the attack by using a firearm and hit his son with several shots. The young man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. After the incident, the father called the police himself and was subsequently taken into custody for questioning.
