TOLEDO, CEBU, PHILIPPINES – DECEMBER 27, 2017 Mary Ann Talingdan Santi (a.k.a. Kendeng Kendi) worked as a radio presenter. Together with her husband, she led a relatively happy life. But on 16 December 2017, her heart unexpectedly failed and she died. Photos show her funeral. As is customary for Asian funerals, she is beautifully made up and groomed in a glass coffin so that her loved ones can say their last goodbyes.
