NATAL, RIO GRANDE DO NORTE, BRAZIL – FEBRUARY 25, 2025 Man had an argument with a family member at Avenida Ayrton Senna and shot him 4 times with his revolver. He used the Cidade Nova app to flee the scene and called a moto taxi driver. By then, however, the police were on his tail.
The officers forced him off the motorbike while he was driving. Although several officers pointed loaded weapons at him, he calmly handled his revolver and put bullets inside. There was no waiting and after several challenges the officers were forced to act.
When a warning shot was fired at his leg, he slumped to the ground and within moments of the officers running up to him, he took his own life. He shot himself in the head.
