ESPERANZA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – JANUARY, 2025 Tragic death of a motorcyclist occurred near a place known as Los Coquitos de Boca de Mao. Haitian immigrant, Junior Etienne, was driving his motorcycle at high speed but lost control and crashed into the guardrail. He died on the spot.

Locals say the nature of the curve where the accident happened is very dangerous. They are asking the government to strengthen road safety measures at that spot.
