HAITI Group of Haitians armed with machetes dragged the two dead bodies of women, whom they had killed beforehand, to a remote location. There, they continued mutilating them – hacking at them with machetes and cutting off one woman’s vagina. The background of the video is currently unknown.
Haiti is often described by many as a country of misery with no future. Similar scenes of violence are unfortunately a daily occurrence there, as violence has become normalized in society. Gangs control most of the capital and a significant amount of territory outside it. The police are corrupt, lack resources, and have given up on justice. People often have to take justice into their own hands.
