SWEIDA, SYRIA – JULY, 2025 Members of the Syrian rebel group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) forced three men belonging to the Druze minority to jump off a balcony. If they didn’t comply, they would be shot. All three decided to jump because at least that gave them some chance to survive. Unfortunately, all of them died.
Lately, the situation in Syria has been becoming more and more unstable, even though the new Syrian government tries to present the opposite. Similar videos showing attacks on religious minorities are not uncommon.
