CHINA Dead body of a young Chinese woman was pulled from the river at the waterfront after random passersby alerted the police. Forensic specialists carried out the usual procedures at the scene, such as an initial examination and photographic documentation of the body before it was sent for an autopsy. Their task in this case was to determine the exact cause of death and rule out foul play. The subsequent autopsy revealed water in her lungs, which is a sign of drowning. However, the circumstances under which her death occurred were never made public.
