IRAQ When the Iraqi villagers managed to kill one of the ISIS terrorists, their accumulated rage against him forced them to take posthumous revenge by mutilating his body. They pulled his heart and lung out. One man from the tribe, in a rush of emotion, takes the heart and bites into it.
While their rage is certainly justified, as ISIS has systematically wiped out similar tribes, there is no other explanation for the man’s behavior than that he did it in a wave of emotion. Unlike in other parts of the world, cannibalism has never been documented in Iraq.
