DALLAS, USA – NOVEMBER 22, 1963 John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the 35th president of the United States to be assassinated in the so-called Dallas assassination. He was fatally wounded by a Carcano M91/38 rifle while driving through the city in a motorcade. The shooter was former US Army Marine Lee Harvey Oswald. After the shooting, the motorcade rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where the president was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later.
