PERNAMBUCO, BRAZIL – DECEMBER 28, 2011 Rita Vieira, 47, was forcibly kidnapped while on her way to the gym in Delmiro Gouveia, where she lived. A day later she was found dead in the interior of Pernambuco state. Her hands were tied behind her back and her body bore the marks of several gunshot wounds. The perpetrator was never caught.
