Landslide killed five illegal gold miners

ATACO, TOLIMA, COLOMBIA – NOVEMBER 15, 2025 Five people died and two were injured in a tragic incident at the Las Cruces mine. Heavy torrential rains triggered massive landslides that buried them alive. It was determined that all of them were there illegally, attempting to mine gold.
