The attacker
When police arrived on the scene, the attacker began throwing firecrackers at them, after which the officers were forced to respond by firing. It was only after he was shot in the leg that they managed to arrest him.
The attacker was found to have a criminal history. He had already attacked his father several times and even tried to burn down his house. The motive was said to be that his father had kicked him out of the house because of his drug addiction.
