YANGZHOU, JIANGSU PROVINCE, CHINA – FEBRUARY 2, 2026 Man working as a truck driver reportedly discovered that his wife was cheating on him. After suspecting her for some time, he began following her and allegedly caught her with another man inside a parked vehicle. The subsequent confrontation led to a brutal attack that ended with the death of her alleged lover.
According to footage circulating online, the man pulled a homemade device resembling a flamethrower from his vehicle and began spraying the victim with a flammable substance, which he then set on fire. The man engulfed in flames was reportedly kneeling on the ground and begging for mercy, but the attacker continued the assault until he suffered fatal injuries.
After the attack, the suspect reportedly remained at the scene and waited for police to arrive. Video recordings showing the aftermath of the incident show officers responding to a burned body and a man sitting nearby who, according to some witnesses, was calmly smoking.
The case attracted significant attention on social media due to the extreme brutality of the attack.
