PASEH, WEST JAVA, INDONESIA – DECEMBER 6, 2024 In the local public cemetery in Patenggeng village, a man was found dead hanging from a tree by random passers-by. Police identified him as a 35-year-old local resident, but his name has not been released. A suicide note addressed to his family was found in his pocket.
Police wanted to investigate the case thoroughly to rule out extraneous culpability and to confirm the suicide. However, the victim’s family refused a forensic autopsy, which stalled the investigation.
