PALMYRA, SYRIA – AUGUST 24, 2026 Explosion occurred in a cart loaded with scrap metal, which contained remnants of military equipment from the period of the civil war. The explosion killed a man, Muhammad Nader Taha Zyab, and two other people were injured.
