MANAUS, BRAZIL – MAY 30, 2025 On Urtigão Street, in the Valparaíso neighborhood, in the eastern zone of Manaus, a man was murdered. According to witnesses, the victim was walking along the road when he was stopped by another man. They talked for a while, during which the attacker suddenly pulled out a gun and shot him several times in the head. The victim died on the spot. The attacker then fled the scene.
The police managed to identify the victim, but the identity was never made public. He is said to be a young man and father of one child, who worked and lived an orderly life. According to his family, however, he had been involved in drug trafficking in the past.
