JABALPUR, MADHYA PRADESH, INDIA – AUGUST 14, 2026 At Mahfil Bar near Deendayal Chowk, a tragic incident occurred between two employees. According to police, 20-year-old Muskan Chaudhary got into an argument with her coworker Pawan Verma, who worked at the establishment as a cook.

The pair initially argued over an issue, and other employees intervened to calm the situation. Later, however, another argument broke out between them. Pawan Verma then allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and repeatedly stabbed Muskan Chaudhary in the abdomen. CCTV footage captured a total of four stab wounds.
Muskan Chaudhary was seriously injured in the attack, and her coworkers took her to a hospital. Doctors were unable to save her, however, and she succumbed to her injuries. Pawan Verma initially fled the scene, but police later detained him and initiated criminal proceedings against him on murder charges.
CCTV footage released after the incident also captured Pawan Verma’s behavior immediately after the attack. Although Muskan Chaudhary was lying injured nearby, Pawan Verma continued working in the kitchen.
