SAN ANTONIO, USA 81-year-old Ramon Najera was attacked by a pack of dogs (mostly pit bulls) when he tried to protect his 74-year-old wife from the attack.

Abilene Moreno, the wife of Christian Alexander, who owned the dogs, says neither is responsible for the attack because the husband took good care of the dogs and also raised them well. Nevertheless, their dogs have attacked people twice in the past. Christian was charged with the attack and taken into custody. Bail was set at $125,000.
The grandchildren of Ramon and his wife, Janie, have set up a GoFundMe page to collect monetary donations for the funeral.
Ramon was a native of San Antonio, a US Air Force veteran and a loving man. This is how his grandchildren described him.
