24-year-old man was admitted to the hospital due to abdominal pain and vomiting, which were related to inflammation of the gallbladder and the presence of gallstones. During a routine examination, doctors accidentally discovered a very rare congenital abnormality of the genital organs – he had two penises, a condition known as diphallia.
According to the medical report, this was a condition present from birth. Both penises were fully developed and both had a urethra, with one being functionally dominant and providing the main urine flow. The patient reported only minor difficulties with urination; otherwise, he had no serious health problems, and his kidneys, bladder, and testes functioned normally.
The examination did not reveal any other congenital defects or complications. Doctors classified the condition according to an expert scale as a rare form of diphallia. After consultation with urologists, the patient was informed about treatment options, but since his condition did not cause significant medical problems, he chose a conservative approach with regular monitoring instead of surgery.
