UGANDA Long-standing neighbor disputes regarding land use ended in a brutal attack on a married couple. The man, so to speak, did not keep his nerves in check and attacked and injured both of them with a machete. While the man received only minor injuries, his wife suffered several deep gashes all over her head, including her face. Updates on their current health status or the capture of the perpetrator are not yet available.
The incident is a harsh reminder of the fact that any disputes can never be solved by violence. On the contrary, it can only deepen disputes and bring harsh consequences.
