IRAQ Members of a Shia militia are filming a triumphant video showing the dead ISIS fighters they killed during a successful operation. Shia militias, along with the ISF (Iraqi Security Forces), played a key role in weakening and driving ISIS out of Iraq.
They had a strong motivation to fight – and an even stronger reason to celebrate whenever they killed a member of the Islamic State. ISIS, as adherents of the Sunni branch of Islam, viewed Shias as infidels and frequently massacred them.
