MEXICO – JANUARY 25, 2024 Edgar Ulises Valencia Corona has repeatedly violated the restraining order he was granted for harassing and stalking his ex-girlfriend Karina Michel Rojas Cervantes. For over a year, he used every possible means to contact her every day. He called her, texted her, emailed her, wrote her letters and tried to meet her. The fact that she ignored him and that she already had a new boyfriend named Jared resulted in him deciding to take revenge and murder her.

After the murder, Edgar called his mother and told her that he had killed Karina. He then made his way towards a high bridge over the highway, from which he threw himself down.
