IXTAPALUCA, MEXICO – OCTOBER 5, 2025 In the Palmas Uno residential complex in Ixtapaluca, on the outskirts of Mexico City, a pack of at least seven dogs attacked a woman who was randomly walking by. Without her provoking the dogs in any way or even paying attention to them, two of them started barking at her and knocked her to the ground. Another five dogs then joined in.
The woman was rescued by a passing driver who used his car horn to scare the dogs away and allowed her to take shelter inside his vehicle. No updates on her medical condition are available.
The residents of Ixtapaluca are furious about the incident because, according to them, the same pack is responsible for another 12 attacks on people in the past. However, the city authorities have not taken any long-term action, even though residents have repeatedly demanded that the pack be captured.
