ALHANDRA, PARAÍBA, BRAZIL – JUNE 20, 2016 Dead body of a young woman was found on a muddy path leading to the river near a ceramics factory. She was identified as 18-year-old Cleitiane Souza, who was already listed as missing in police records. She was last seen in a bar in Pitimbu along with her boyfriend but never returned home.

According to all available information, she and her boyfriend got together with a group of 4 guys and rode away from the bar on motorbikes. While they kept her boyfriend locked in the shed, they took turns raping Cleitiane. To prevent her from identifying them, they murdered her with several gunshots.
Her boyfriend survived that horrific night, but suffered a lifetime of trauma. He was given a new identity by the police so that he could remain undercover and identify the perpetrators of this horrible crime.
