MANAUS, BRAZIL – AUGUST 24, 2019 Cristiane de Oliviera Miranda, 39, has been reported missing for several days. In the early hours of 24 August, a random passer-by found her dead body among the housing developments in the Colonia Antônio Aleixo neighbourhood east of Manaus. The victim showed signs of abuse, rape and had her head smashed with a rock.
