CANCÚN, QUINTANA ROO, MEXICO – APRIL 29, 2026 The incident took place in the El Crucero area. A man arrived on a motorcycle, boarded a public transportation bus, and began attacking one of the female passengers for no apparent reason. According to published reports, he repeatedly grabbed her by the hair and violently pulled it.
The other passengers initially just watched the situation unfold. Eventually, however, one man intervened, grabbed the attacker by the neck, and dragged him off the bus. Outside, three more men joined in and began beating him. The attacker was then detained until the relevant authorities arrived.
