LOMAS DE SARGENTILLO, ECUADOR – APRIL 2, 2026 Right in front of the Ecuadorian Transport Commission building, a fatal traffic accident occurred in which a motorcyclist lost his life. His helmet did not withstand the impact and came off his head, after which he suffered head injuries incompatible with life.
The incident serves as a warning for all motorcyclists about the importance of following traffic regulations, as well as the importance of high-quality riding gear. Cheap and uncertified helmets may not always withstand an impact and protect you.
