BANGARMAU, UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA – MARCH 3, 2026 Two people died and six others were injured in a serious traffic accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. According to a preliminary investigation, the pickup truck driver likely fell asleep at the wheel, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The car then veered out of its lane and crashed into the central barriers at high speed.
The force of the impact was so strong that several passengers were thrown from the vehicle during the collision. The driver Murari and a three-year-old girl named Shiksha died at the scene. Six other injured passengers were taken to a hospital for treatment.
