Pedestrian fatally struck by light truck

CHINA – FEBRUARY 5, 2026 Man attempted to cross the road despite the pedestrian traffic light showing red. He ran directly in front of a moving light truck. The driver tried at the last moment to swerve, but the vehicle skidded and struck the man with its cargo bed. According to all available information, he died. The incident was captured on CCTV.
