Peruvian female motorcyclist died under truck

LIMA, PERU – FEBRUARY 17, 2026 Fatal traffic accident occurred in the district of Villa María del Triunfo. The incident took place in the morning hours directly in front of the main entrance to the Terminal Pesquero area. The victim was a woman riding a motorcycle, who was struck and subsequently run over by a heavy tractor-trailer.

According to the police report, the motorcycle driver suffered injuries incompatible with life and died immediately at the scene. The truck driver was detained and taken for questioning and mandatory alcohol tests. The scene of the accident was closed for several hours for the examination of the body by the prosecutor, which caused significant traffic complications in the southern part of Lima.
