When they met in person, he invited Maria to his apartment. He wanted to have sex with her, but she turned him down. Vladimir couldn’t control himself and raped her there. He did it in a brutal way. He tied her hands behind her back and stuffed a sock in her mouth.
She started threatening him that she would do everything she could to get him thrown in jail. She screamed so loudly that even the neighbors heard it, but they didn’t react in any way. Suddenly the screaming stopped. Vladimir murdered Maria.
In an attempt to get rid of her body, he cut her into several pieces. He wrapped the pieces in plastic bags, which he threw away near the city of Magnitogorsk. When the remains were found, they were in a fairly decomposed state. Maria was only identified by her DNA.
In an attempt to procure an alibi, Vladimir shared posts on his social networking site in which he pretended to be ill and lying in his bed. But under the weight of the evidence, he eventually confessed to the murder and was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
