DAVAO DEL NORTE, PHILIPPINES – JULY 19, 2017 Kimberly Autida, 19, a student at the University of Southeastern Philippines, was the victim of a brutal rape that ended in her death. Her corpse was found with her hands and feet tied at the bottom of a muddy pond.

Shortly after her body was found, the suspect was arrested. It was 50-year-old Ricardo Sale. He still had his shirt stained with mud.

An autopsy of her body showed that the victim was killed by repeated blows to her lower abdomen. This literally ripped open her internal organs and caused internal bleeding. She must have been dying in great pain.

Kimberly was the winner of several university beauty pageants and a candidate for the local “Mutya ng Samal” pageant in 2016.
