Russian soldier dies after jumping from burning building

KUPIANSK-VUZLOVYI, UKRAINE – APRIL 18, 2026 Group of six soldiers from the 153rd Tank Regiment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attempted to break into the settlement of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi in the Kharkiv region. However, their plans were discovered in time by soldiers of the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. Four of them were neutralized before reaching their target. The other two managed to get inside a building, after which the Ukrainian side set the building on fire and offered the enemy a chance to surrender. One of them accepted the offer, while the other jumped out of a window. He died upon impact.
