UKRAINE Russian soldiers humiliated their Ukrainian prisoner of war in a shocking way. They forced him to put a dildo in his mouth. During this, they recorded him on video and verbally insulted him. Words such as “suka” can be heard in the recording, which means “bitch” when translated into English.
Similar behavior during armed conflicts is prohibited by the Geneva Conventions and their additional protocols. Prisoners of war must be protected at all times from violence, intimidation, insults, or public curiosity.
