BẾN CÁT, BÌNH DƯƠNG, VIETNAM – MARCH 19, 2025 In the industrial zone Mỹ Phước 3 in the city of Bến Cát, Bình Dương province, a tragic accident occurred. While entering the premises, a tractor with a trailer carrying three heavy rolls of plastic fabric overturned. They fell and buried a 51-year-old security worker, Mr. Mai Công, who was standing by the gate. Although the employees present tried to lift the roll to free him, Mr. Công suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The investigation showed that the tractor driver, 27-year-old Nguyễn Phạm Thành Trọng, suddenly changed direction while entering the premises without slowing down, which caused the vehicle to overturn and the heavy rolls to fall. He was charged with negligent homicide.
