Sentenced to death for blasphemy

KARACHI, PAKISTAN The man was supposed to have committed blasphemy against God. The imam of a nearby mosque said that he had committed such a sin that he deserved to die. The imam’s words incited the crowd, which dragged the man out of his house. The man was lynched and killed. This is still the reality of many Islamic countries.
