LISBON, PORTUGAL – NOVEMBER 30, 2025 Six young Angolans were tragically killed in a traffic accident after their BMW left the road, crashed into a concrete pole, and was engulfed in flames within moments. There were six people inside the vehicle, even though it was designed to carry a maximum of five occupants. Because the fire spread so quickly, none of the passengers had a chance to escape.
According to available information, the victims were a group of Angolan students between approximately 19 and 21 years old. The identified victims included Bruno Balça and Luís Garrido, while friends said that two sisters were also among the other passengers. The intense fire completely destroyed the vehicle, and the severity of the burns made it extremely difficult to identify some of the victims. The cause of the crash has not yet been officially determined.
