NEW DELHI, INDIA – APRIL 30, 2026 Video recorded by a random bystander captures the fatal attack on 16-year-old Ayaan Saifi in eastern Delhi. The teenager was attacked by a group of men near a local park and suffered multiple stab wounds.

According to witnesses and relatives, Ayaan was running from the attackers before they surrounded him and repeatedly stabbed him in the back, abdomen, and legs. The family claims that the attack was connected to an earlier conflict involving a man nicknamed “Vakil,” in which Ayaan was allegedly not involved.
Ayaan was initially taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital and was later reportedly supposed to be transferred to the AIIMS trauma center due to his critical condition. According to his family, he briefly regained consciousness before his death and was reportedly able to identify some of the attackers to police.
The family also claims that Ayaan had previously received threats and that the attack was targeted. However, the results of the police investigation were never made public.
