Tourist drowns in river while taking selfie

MANSEHRA, PAKISTAN – JUNE 11, 2025 23-year-old tourist Muhammad Ramazan from the city of Quetta was hiking in the Kaghan Valley. He wanted to take a selfie with the Kunhar River for his social media, so he jumped onto one of the large rocks jutting out of the river. But when he tried to jump back, he failed and fell into the strong current. He tried to fight the icy water from the melted snow in the mountains for a while, but eventually lost the struggle. His body has not yet been found.
