Treatment of critically wounded Ukrainian soldier

UKRAINE Ukrainian soldier sustained severe injuries during the fighting. Among other injuries, the explosion amputated part of his foot. Medics from his unit provided him with basic treatment directly on the battlefield so that he could be transported to a hospital. They stabilized his injuries and applied a tourniquet to his leg to prevent massive blood loss. No updates on his condition or information on whether he survived are available.
