DOKA VILLAGE, KADUNA STATE, NIGERIA – SEPTEMBER 12, 2026 Twelve people died in a serious traffic accident on Kaduna-Kachia Road near the village of Doka in the southern part of Nigeria’s Kaduna State. Two Volkswagen Golf III vehicles were involved in the collision, carrying a total of 14 people. Eight men and four women died, while two other women were injured and taken to Rapha Hospital.
According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), a burst tire was the probable cause of the accident. None of the passengers or either of the drivers reportedly wore seat belts.
