SAN DIEGO, CESAR, COLOMBIA – SEPTEMBER 23, 2026 17-year-olds Jaider David Bustamante Polo and Víctor Julio Torres were killed when their motorcycles collided on the road between San Diego and Agustín Codazzi. The crash happened near La Fonda Paisa restaurant, and both teenagers died at the scene.

According to local media, Jaider David Bustamante Polo, known to those close to him as “El Menor,” and Víctor Julio Torres were students and longtime friends who shared a passion for motorcycles. Two other young men were seriously injured and were first taken to a medical facility in San Diego before being transferred to a hospital in Valledupar.
The exact circumstances of the crash are still being investigated. Local residents suggested that the teenagers may have been performing high-speed maneuvers or taking part in “piques ilegales,” illegal motorcycle races, shortly before the collision. Authorities have not confirmed that this was the cause of the crash. A Colombian police traffic unit examined the scene and began an investigation.
