TAYABAS CITY, QUEZON, PHILIPPINES – FEBRUARY 9, 2026 Tragic accident occurred in which two young women died and another person was injured. The incident happened when a minibus collided with the motorcycle carrying both women.
Both victims were identified as Jenny O., 21, and Janelle O., 20. The motorcyclist, known only as Josh, was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital.

The minibus was driven by a 25-year-old man named Mark, who reportedly had 14 passengers on board. After the crash, Mark tried to flee the scene, but witnesses, employees of the Land Transportation Office (LTO), immediately chased and arrested him. Mark could not present a driver’s license, and his minibus also did not have a passenger transport permit.
