SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – JUNE 28, 2025 In the northern part of São Paulo, a fight broke out between fans of two football teams – Corinthians and Palmeiras. The people involved were neighbors with a long-standing dispute. It started when Corinthians fans walked past the house of their Palmeiras-supporting neighbors and began provoking them.
The video shows two brothers, who are Palmeiras fans, attacking a man from Corinthians. One of them used a shovel to hit him and continued the assault even after the man passed out. Additionally, shots were fired, and one Corinthians fan was wounded in the leg.
The injured were treated by emergency services and taken to the hospital. The brothers were arrested and face attempted murder charges. The police confiscated the weapon used in the shooting, but the shovel has not yet been found. The case is being handled by the local police in Pirituba.
