BANGKOK, THAILAND – OCTOBER, 2024 Two women, one 31 years old the other 34 years old were just on their way to work on their scooter in the capital of Thailand. They were both bank employees. When the female scooter driver tried to make a U-turn, they were hit by a speeding Bangkok Metropolitan Transport Authority (BMTA) bus. They were both crushed and dead at the scene. Who was at fault in the accident is still under police investigation, but the BMTA has still offered financial compensation to the families of both victims. Only the identity of one of the victims, Manatsanan Noiaim, has been made public.
