NATAL, RIO GRANDE DO NORTE, BRAZIL – MAY 5, 2026 In the Lagoa Azul district, a dismembered body of a young man was found in a retention lagoon. The victim was later identified as 24-year-old Gabriel Fernando.

The body was discovered by a fisherman, who immediately contacted the police through the public safety coordination center. Military and civil police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. Initially, only the torso was found; later, with the help of firefighters, other parts of the body were discovered around the lagoon.
The family stated that the young man had been missing since the day before the discovery. He had no serious criminal record, only a history related to drug use, and worked as a rideshare driver.
Later, a video of the aftermath of his execution appeared on the internet. Everything suggests that one of the local criminal factions is responsible for his brutal murder.
